01 / The workflowDistinguish demand from coverage
Document when transportation is needed and separately identify who is available to drive. Understand operating calendars, shift overlap, driver roles, and what happens when an older schedule is uploaded. Decide how conflicting or incomplete information should be shown before any automatic scheduling is introduced.
02 / The workflowPreserve human control
Identify which decisions the system may suggest, which it may apply, and which need approval. Design manager overrides and audit history alongside the ordinary workflow. Changes in availability should not silently rewrite unrelated records or leave riders seeing information that staff already know is outdated.
03 / The workflowConnect gradually and test exceptions
Start with an authorized import or a defined interface, then validate source dates, organizations, and record identities. Test driver changes, closed operating days, missing coverage, and communication failures. Third-party workforce-system access and integrations require separate confirmation; mentioning an integration in a plan does not make it available.
